Dimar Beach Hotel was a great value for its prime location, and we had a wonderful stay. Calangute Beach is only a five-minute walk away, so we could easily return to the hotel and had markets, shops, and restaurants right outside. The Standard AC Room was clean and comfortable, just what we needed. The AC worked well, and the complimentary bottled water and clean towels were appreciated. The staff, especially housekeeping, were polite and helpful. I’d definitely book here again if I wanted a budget-friendly stay with easy access to the beach and the heart of Calangute.

Dimar Beach Hotel works well as an affordable base if you want to be in the middle of North Goa’s lively area. Its strongest point is the location: Calangute Beach and the iconic Infantaria café are a short walk away, so it’s easy to get around the local scene without needing constant transport. The rooms are surprisingly large for the price, which is useful for groups. The place is no-frills and shows its age, so expect basic utility rather than a polished resort feel. The staff are generally warm and accommodating. It suits travelers who plan to spend the day at the beach or shacks and just need a centrally located, affordable place to sleep at night.

The room was clean and surprisingly spacious, and the staff were really friendly. I stayed for two days. The road-facing view wasn't much to look at, but the hotel is very handy for Calangute beach, about a 5-10 minute walk, with the market area all around it and plenty of good restaurants nearby. I'd look at the restaurant options before choosing one. The entrance is just stairs, which didn't make a great first impression, but once I reached reception the hotel felt like good value. A fantastic stay, and I'd recommend it.

If your budget is really tight, this is a decent, inexpensive hotel at Calangute Circle. The beach is roughly 200 metres away. Don't expect too much.
