We stayed in one of the cottage rooms. It was decent and had the basic amenities, but ours looked old, wasn’t as well maintained as it could be, and had a slight unpleasant smell. Cats roamed around the cottage area and made noise at night, disturbing our sleep. The hotel is very close to Baga Beach and has private beach entry. We came in our own vehicle and had trouble finding it at first, but reception guided us well when we called. A tip for drivers: search for the Lenskart store near Baga Beach on maps, turn left there, then continue straight to the hotel. Housekeeping was prompt and responsive. Breakfast was really good, with lots of choices including Jain food. Try to reach the breakfast area before 9:00 AM for an easier time getting a seat. It gets crowded afterward, though the staff try to arrange seating quickly. We had à la carte dinner, which was good. There’s also a buffet dinner with a good variety for guests who pre-book it. The hotel is near a Hindu cremation ground. It’s mostly screened by the hotel premises, but at times we noticed a burning smell. Bike and car rental vendors stand outside the main gate throughout the day. That may be convenient for some, though families might find it a little uncomfortable.

The location was perfect for a relaxing break, and the rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and the service was impeccable. I absolutely loved my holiday at Estrela Do Mar Beach Resort! Highly recommend it 🤩💯🌴☀️

We spent three days here as a family of four, including our one year old daughter. She was served home like curry for free, which was a lovely touch. Calangute beach is exactly 2 mins away, the food was tasty, and the service was excellent. The package included use of the swimming pool, and the in-room service was very good. We had a great vacation.

Traveling with our 4-year-old and 7-month-old can be a lot, but the team took such good care of us and the kids that I felt completely at ease. Everyone was incredibly polite and cooperative from the moment we arrived. The property was impeccably clean and well maintained. This is our go-to place now. I’d choose this hotel over any other nearby every time!

The staff are still making every effort to keep guests comfortable, even with some menu cuts related to rising gas rates and the issue in Goa. This was my second visit, and the place is still good after all these years. It’s right on Baga beach, with direct access to the beach and a walkable distance from Calangute. The rooms are comfortable and suit our needs. One of the few resorts in Goa with direct beach access. A great stay, highly recommend for anyone who wants to see the realaessence of Goa.
