OYO 17019 Home Peacefully Studios Calangute

We paid the full amount through UPI Google Pay when we arrived at James Inn(James Beach House/OYO Home 17019 Studio). The transaction notice said it could take 2 or 3 days to process. Still, Mr Saurav Mishra came at 9.30pm the next night demanding the full amount in cash. I was there with my 88 year old Father, my 24 year old Intellectually Disabled son, my daughter and my husband. I said we had 4 more days and would call Google Pay in the morning, then pay cash if the transfer hadn't gone through. He yelled and threatened to make us leave in the middle of the night, despite the two women, an older person and a disabled person in our group. The owner's (Mrs Chetna Mishra) husband Mr Saurav Mishra was uncouth and mannerless. The place smelled awful and was extremely dirty. They just sprayed air freshener, which made it even less suitable for someone with asthma. During our 7 day stay, the room was cleaned only twice and the toilet wasn't cleaned at all. There was no one to help when we needed anything because the caretaker was away looking after several other properties. I wouldn't advise anyone to stay at JAMES INN or JAMES BEACH HOUSE or OYO Home 17019 Studio. It doesn't deserve even 1 star. In my view, Mr Saurav Mishra is the most dangerous person on this universe.

My trip was spoiled by the unhelpful staff and lack of facilities. There was no TV connection, and the room boy kept coming in to check the TV even though it still didn't work.

We booked through OYO, but the owner wasn't available. OYO's service was terrible too, and the two of them made that day in Goa a mess for us.
