Paradise Village Beach Resort

Service was the main problem in an otherwise average stay. The location is good and the rooms are average, but staff need better training and grooming, and room service wasn’t acceptable. I called in the morning for tea and nobody answered. Reception then told me room service starts at 8am.

The restaurant kept making excuses about our orders and wasn’t responsive. The rooms felt uncomfortable and unsuitable, and maintenance was only so-so. There was a lifeguard at the pool, but small children were peeing in it. The location also felt a little scary. I wouldn’t recommend Paradise beach resort for a vacation, especially for people expecting a 5-star stay.

We had a really enjoyable family stay at paradise village resort. The staff were helpful and supportive, and the unlimited breakfast, lunch, and dinner were a nice part of it. The beach is about 200 m behind the resort, so it has that proper Goa beach feel.

The most upsetting thing was that my mobile phone went missing from the room. I reported it to the staff, but got little help and was simply told nothing had been found. It didn’t seem to be taken seriously, which left me worried about guest security. Check-in was also disappointing. I wasn’t given the room I was supposed to get, and after a delay I was moved to a different room that wasn’t clean and looked poorly maintained. The whole experience was unpleasant. I hope management improves cleanliness, room allocation, and security so others don’t have the same problems.
