The location right in front of the beach is nice, the pool is good, and both the rooms and the whole premises are spacious. But the property is very old and badly needs renovation. The interiors feel dated, and the chair and sun-bed cushions and the blankets are torn. The food quality is very low, and they need to change the caterers. Nobody eats there. The complimentary breakfast is good, but still not at that level. In May, the beach-facing room was Rs 5500, which is too much for a place with those issues. I’d only recommend the beach-facing room if it cost Rs 3000.

Breakfast and the food were nice, and I enjoyed the starters, especially the fish. The location is amazing, right on the beach, with a great sea-facing view and the sound of the waves. The rooms need attention, and their condition doesn’t justify the terrif. Nearly everything needs renovation, including the paint, bed, chairs, and tables. There’s no telephone for room service, so you have to go to the balcony and shout to ask for something. If you’re expecting well-maintained, comfortable, cozy rooms, this isn’t the place.

After a long flight, we arrived late at night for a two-day family stay and found that the room’s AC wasn’t working at all. In the humidity, that was a major problem. We were exhausted, but when we asked to change rooms or have the AC fixed, the owner or duty manager refused. The only offer was a refund, with no thought for where we’d go at that hour with a tired family. They should check basic things like AC before assigning rooms. It was a long weekend, and we couldn’t find another room so late. We somehow slept for 2-3 hours without AC, with the door open. The room itself was cramped and in terrible shape, with clogged toilets and sinks. The pool was closed, and the whole resort seemed to be under construction. Being close to the beach is the resort’s selling point, but it’s not a private beach and it was still crowded. The facilities were inadequate, the service was even worse, and this was the worst resort experience we’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Empire Beach Resort has lovely greenery all around, giving it a peaceful, picturesque feel. The pool is great for relaxing or spending time in the water, and comes with stunning views. There’s also a private beach entrance for exclusive access to pristine sand and clear water, adding to the sense of seclusion. The food was another highlight. The culinary team serves a wide range of fresh, flavorful dishes for different tastes, and guests rave about them. With the pool, food, beach entrance, and greenery, Empire Beach Resort promises an extraordinary stay and an unforgettable retreat.
