Renzo's Inn

We spent three days here, from 15th to 18th Dec 2024, and found Renzo's INN a decent, pleasant choice for a family stay. Rooms were clean, well maintained, and had AC, hot water, and a balcony. Staff were helpful and considered our requests. Even our late-night check-in went smoothly. They can help arrange scooter rental and taxis, and there’s an in-house restaurant called Geeta Kitchen. For stays over two days, they’ll change the bedsheets and clean the rooms and bathrooms on request. If you want a straightforward, worry-free stay, I’d recommend it.

Our bathroom clogged on the fourth day, and it took two more days plus several complaints before anyone cleared it. Insects showed up in the room every day, and the towels weren't properly clean. The small shampoo and Clinic Plus pouches were pretty ordinary. On top of that, construction was happening directly in front of the rooms. Nobody mentioned it at check-in, and the workers started early each morning, disturbing us throughout the stay. There didn't seem to be a responsible manager available. I'd skip this hotel if you can.

The reception staff were really friendly, and the location made it easy to get to restaurants, banks, and beaches on foot while being set back from the busy street. Our room was a good size, with a balcony useful for drying or storing things, though there was nowhere to sit out there. We stayed three nights and the room wasn't cleaned once. The safe was also out of order, so we had nowhere secure for our passports and valuables.

There was no swimming pool as such, just a bathtub-like pool that was unhygienic, and we couldn't get mineral water at the hotel. Our room was dirty, with bugs in the quilt that kept biting and made it impossible to sleep. The towels were torn with large holes, and the lamps had spider webs and didn't work. At night the staff were drunk, which made the place feel unsafe. When we raised problems, the owner denied everything and blamed us. A completely fraudulent hotel, I'd strongly advise people not to go.
