Resort De Balneaire

The staff at reception and in service were polite and courteous, but I wouldn’t stay here again. We spent two nights and found the value very poor for the price. The property sits well inside from the main road, inconvenient to reach, and isn’t close to main Calangute Beach. The rooms are spacious but only average, nowhere near a four-star standard, more like two or two-plus stars. The food was ordinary, and the breakfast buffet didn’t even have basic desserts. They give only two 500 ml water bottles a day, which seems inadequate for a hotel claiming a higher standard. Basic things were missing too, like hand towels and soap. The bathroom had two pump bottles without labels for shampoo and body wash, so guests have to guess. There’s nothing else noteworthy about the place. Goa has much better properties for the same or less money.

We especially want to thank executive chef Mr Ankit, who kept a close eye on the dishes and made meals to suit our choices. He was very courteous with us. Dinner was excellent and tasty, and breakfast had a good range of healthy, delicious options. The rooms and food were well maintained, and the receptionist was friendly and polite. Everything was good, and we’re grateful to bells beach for a wonderful stay.

Honestly, it felt almost too good to be true. The food was amazing, the service great, and the staff were so polished and well trained. Such a lovely stay, highly recommend.

We spent six memorable days here, and the managers were quick to respond whenever we needed them. The staff were supportive and helpful, the breakfast was great, and the pool was clean. It’s one of the best resorts around Calangute-Baga, and a lovely place to stay with family. I’d recommend it and would visit again.
