Delight Hostel Goa Candolim

We found the dorm clean and there was parking, but there was nowhere to hang out in a common area. We booked expecting both AC and a fan, then spent the whole night without electricity and struggled to sleep. The receptionist, Damo, didn't turn on a generator or inverter to restore power. He spoke politely, but the lack of concern for customers bothered me. He still charged the full amount even though we stayed only 14 hours and had no electricity at night. The rest was okay, but that awful experience made it not worth it.

The location is a strong point: Delight Hostel sits right by Candolim's main road, with the beach under a ten-minute walk away. There are plenty of places to eat nearby, and Delphino Supermarket is within walking distance. The hostel is quite high-tech, with keyless entry that helps keep guests safer.

I stayed for eight nights, and the rooms and washroom were clean. All the staff were helpful, especially Kevin at reception. The hostel is near the beach, with good cafes and restaurants close by. There's also a taxi and scooty rental just across the road. I'd rate it 8 or 9 out of 10. Definitely one of the better budget places to stay in Candolim, Goa.

I've been here for the past three days, and the service has been excellent. Mr. Kevin runs the place really well and takes care of even the small details, so I didn't have to worry about anything. I checked in on a busy day, jan26th Thursday, but he still got us settled without a wait. I've never seen a dorm this clean. You can leave your slippers outside the room, and entry requires an access card. They have good budget-friendly breakfast choices. I tried masala dosa, uthappam, toast, omelette, and grilled sandwiche. Everything was good except the grilled sandwiche.
