We stayed from 20 August to 23 August 2019. The hotel's exterior looked nice, but inside, our first impression was terrible. The rooms were dirty, with stains on the sheets and pillows. The bathroom tap was broken, water from the damaged sink pipe spread across the bathroom, and the room smelled. The room door wouldn’t lock properly, the fan didn’t work at low speed, and the AC wasn’t cooling well, though the cool weather made that manageable. The toilet at the Shara blue restaurant smelled strongly too. Restaurant service was extremely slow. We waited over half an hour for a simple bread batter or sandwich breakfast, even though there weren’t many customers. A water bottle marked at 20 was charged at 25, even for regular water. They also charged an extra 20 Rs. for simple bread in the aamlet. The reception had a taxi driver’s number. We agreed on 1000 for pickup and drop-off, but the driver charged 1200. On the last day, we agreed on 1860 for an airport pickup and drop-off, but he billed 2200. I’m sharing what happened to us, though I don’t blame the hotel for the taxi charges. Be careful when booking a taxi. We wanted to check out on the first day, but the OYO representative said we’d have to pay for all 3 days. People had said this was a good hotel for the area, and I don’t know how other hotels compare. Maybe it was in good shape when it first opened, but the demand for cheaper rooms may have led to the current condition. Management should keep the rooms hygienic and maintain things properly. They could also raise the price of some rooms so guests have options to suit their needs.

We booked two rooms for five people through OYO, but both rooms were in terrible condition. When we asked for a different room, the person said only two rooms were left. After we insisted that we were uncomfortable, he showed us another room right away, so it seemed he had been lying. Based on the charges and rating from the OYO executive, we expected the hotel to be okay, but it wasn’t. The rooms weren’t clean or ready at check-in, even though we’d called the hotel nearly 3 hours beforehand to make sure arrival would be hassle-free. It took us an hour to get settled, and we had to call twice whenever we needed anything. The rooms were so dusty that anything left on a table got dirty. One of the two rooms had an AC that didn’t work all night. When we asked for bottled water, they said the hotels were closed and there was no stock. Later, someone came up with four bottles. I don’t recommend staying here. It was our bad luck that we couldn’t find another option in Chakan because it was already 2 o’clock at night and every hotel was full.
The corridors, rooms, and washrooms were unclean and smelled foul. I booked a triple occupancy room for three people through the OYO app, but on arrival the receptionist demanded extra money for an additional bed and refused check-in. I cancelled the booking.
The staff were good and helpful, and the second room we were given was pretty good. The first one was really bad, though, and the rooms overall are small, old, a bit smelly, and not in good condition. They’re okay for two people, but the rooms weren’t up to the mark.
