Parking is on the ground floor, and the dining hall seats up to 20 people. It has a simple feel. We enjoyed the dishes we ordered, which were tasty, even though hotel food generally isn’t anything special. There are rooms with a view and ones without; I recorded a video from inside a view room. The room was moderate in size, not too big or too small. Gandhi Chowk is about 800 meters away, so having your own vehicle would be convenient. Without one, it may be better to stay closer to Gandhi Chowk.

We booked breakfast and lunch or dinner, and both times they reminded us, “mam khana tyar haii”. There was a good range of tasty food, and the owner we met at checkout was such a down-to-earth person. Hotel lifestyle was a superb, pocket-friendly stay with all the facilities, including parking on the roof. It’s couple-friendly and works well for families or friends too. Gandhi Chowk is 1 km away, just a walk. I highly recommend it.

The room was spacious and had really nice interiors, but it was badly maintained. We were 8 km before Dalhousie, and the views weren’t like the photos. The washroom and room were dirty; cleaning staff arrived more than an hour late, bedsheets weren’t clean, there were used cigarette and hans packets in a drawer, and ladies’ hair on the balcony. Food was average and took a long time to arrive. They never gave us the Wi-Fi password even after we asked. MakeMyTrip showed a free room upgrade for vaccinated guests, but the hotel didn’t know about it.

The overall stay was poor. Ants were crawling around in the rooms, and the food was very bad, including the complimentary breakfast. There’s no buffet system. Mr. Baljeet Singh was the one bright spot, with very good service and behavior.

“PS THAKUR” and “Shreyas Sharma” were especially humble and provided great service. We had a great experience all around. Must visit this hotel when you come here.
