Sartaj - The Crown

We stayed for three days and had an outstanding experience. Mr. Asif helped us a lot with our daily chores, and the rooms were very neat and clean. The mountain views from the room were excellent, and the food was excellent too. I'd recommend this hotel to everyone.

The calm atmosphere and sweeping views made our stay at the sartaj the crown hotel especially memorable. Mr Asif ji, the hotel manager, took care to make our custom cooking requests work, and both the meals and service were impeccable. We had a wonderful time and would recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, kind hospitality, and beautiful scenery.

The smell in the room was unbearable, like a dead rat, and made the stay extremely uncomfortable. The room itself was tiny, dirty, and unhygienic, with no towels, soap, toothpaste, slippers, or even breakfast. The geyser barely worked and the tap was completely blocked. This caused me a lot of inconvenience, and I expect an explanation, prompt action, and appropriate compensation or a refund. These conditions are unacceptable for a hotel.

We only planned on two nights but stayed for five, and would have added another if the hotel hadn't been fully booked. The rooms were clean, the views were great, and the place felt family friendly. The food was really good too. It's newly renovated, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a hotel in Dalhousie.
