FabHotel The First

This was the worst hotel I’ve ever visited, with poor upkeep and no hygiene. The rooms and especially the washrooms need a complete renovation. I wouldn’t want anyone else to have such a bad experience.

I travelled alone to chandigarh for an exam and had already booked through the fab hotel app so I wouldn’t have to search around for somewhere to stay. At check-in, the person at reception said I had to pay more than the price I’d booked. When I kept asking, he became rude and showed no respect. I’ve travelled to many states, but I’ve never been treated with such disrespect, especially as a woman travelling alone from far away. Customer care eventually changed my hotel, but after all that trouble I’ll never book this place again. Customers don’t know about the secret deals between hotels and apps. It seems managers use excuses to turn people away even after they’ve paid part of the booking amount. The staff should learn to treat guests, and women, with respect.

The rooms were disgusting, service was even worse, and the food had no taste. There’s no security, and nobody even asked where I was coming from. I also doubt the reviews are real: staff make them using clients’ names. Look at the images and decide for yourself.

We were 12 people and booked through Fab hotels. The owner acted like a goon, wouldn’t recognize the online payments we’d already made, demanded double charges, and threatened us. We had a very bad experience. Please don’t ever book this hotel online.
