Hotel Classic

I was fully satisfied with my stay at hotel classic. The deluxe room was spacious, clean, and hygienic, with well-kept furniture and all the amenities I could need: a fridge, sofa, study table, TV, 24 hour hot water, heater, and AC. Staff were polite and room service was fast, even late at night. They respected our privacy, and I think it works well for families, young people, or couples. It’s in sector 35, the heart of chandigarh and the city’s main market.

We recently held an Anniversary party here, and everyone had a great time 😊. The staff were cooperative, the food was tasty, and everything came out on time. The music system was decent too.

The location is the best thing about this hotel. When you search for hotels in Chandigarh, you often get results in Zirakpur or Village locations, which can leave you with a long journey. A gentleman at reception was supportive, and I found the hotel as good as I’d imagined. The food was the best I’ve had at any hotel so far, with no competition in taste. The room had useful amenities including a TV, fridge, laptop table, chairs, and kettle. I saw a few small issues that could be overlooked, and no major problems overall. The WiFi was slow enough to be a real problem for official work. Dust was visibly flying from curtains that probably hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The electric switch was on the wrong side for charging a laptop or phone, so I had to go to the left side. Still, couples or families planning a trip can enjoy the hotel’s services. 🥰

For the prices they charge, I honestly didn’t like this hotel. It’s near lots of cafes and restaurants, including KFC, McD, and dominos, and the location is a plus. The breakfast choices are limited to sandwich, puri or Paratha, and omelette, with tea to drink and no juice. If you stay two days or longer, you have to ask each time for another water bottle. There’s no centralised AC, and the AC leaks water. Cigarette smell kept coming through even when I wasn’t smoking, apparently because of poor interconnection. There’s no lift, and the staff didn’t seem professional for a 3 star hotel. It isn’t worth that much.
