They took full payment for my booking, then refused to give me a room when I arrived. The staff were rude and nobody took responsibility. I didn't feel it was safe for families with children. At midnight I had to get police help to move somewhere else, and they still haven't refunded me. Oyo also hasn't acted on it. Don't book here, they can ruin your trip. The government should take action to stop tourists being exploited.
The bathroom didn't even have a light when I visited, and water leaked out into the room, leaving the whole place damp and dingy. The bedsheets stayed dirty and weren't changed unless we asked. Staff quoted different prices to different people. I'd avoid this place unless it's the last room available in Chandigarh.
I had to ask the staff on duty several times to clean the room, but it wasn't done until midnight. There was no drinking water in the room, and the hotel served no breakfast. They told me to go to a nearby tea stall for Aloo Parantha and Dal. The room, bed linen and bathroom were all far below the standard I expected from OYO Hotels, with cigarette butts, matchsticks, empty liquor bottles, plastic glasses and a thick layer of dust left around.
Breakfast was good and arrived at my room on time. The staff treated me really well, and both the room and washroom were clean. Great stay and service.
The room service was good, and the food tasted good too. For the price, it was a worthwhile stay, though there aren't many good restaurants close by. The hotel is very near the railway station, but the narrow street made me feel unsafe walking there at night.
