OYO 16969 The Nest

The room was unhygienic, and the bed was torn and not properly washed. When I asked for the AC remote, the owner misbehaved with me. He smokes weed and is always drunk.

The location in Balongi Mohali is great, and the staff were really nice and cooperative. I found the room clean, spacious, and suitable for a couple or family, with good hygiene. They served very tasty food too. At OYO 16969 Hotel The Nest, the room had air conditioning, a Geyser, a Heater, and a Led TV with HD Channels. It was a pleasant stay and a great experience.

I booked this hotel on 9th aug 2024, when the OYO app showed a total of 1113. At the counter, the boy denied that price and told me to book again, saying there was an issue with the OYO app. Why should a customer have to deal with a conflict between you and OYO? In the end, they asked for 1800 rupees for 2 day. Money isn't the issue, but why make a false promise? Other hotels near this one may give the same reason to turn you away, so avoid the nearby hotels too or they'll ruin your whole plan. There was no drinking water either.

The manager Sunil was rude and completely unprofessional. The housekeeping guy acted more professionally than he did. We booked one room for 3 adults, but they wouldn't provide a mattress for the third person at night. I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Goibibo customer service, but the hotel still refused. I booked another room so the guest could sleep, and they refused to give us that room as well. In the end, all 3 adults had to fit on one double bed. If they can't provide a mattress for a third person, they should say so when booking: Yatri kripya apna mattress ghar se leke aaye. Goibibo should check whether hotels can provide the promised service before listing them. This place is nonsense, I would never recommend it, and I wish I could rate it below zero. Shame on Nest.
