We arrived at 2.30am and didn’t get the room keys until around 3.30, after the owner, Akhil Vasu Dev, argued with us until we felt we had no choice but to pay extra. We’d booked a normal room, but he insisted we pay more for an AC room or leave. He didn’t care about OYO or anyone else, and started bringing up political influence to show his power. I was disappointed with OYO, where we’d regularly booked, and scared to be stuck there in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar place. The room itself was filthy. The bedsheets, pillow and pillow covers weren’t clean, there was long women’s hair on the bed, and a used underwear was on the bathroom door. They had no blanket when we asked, and when we asked for towels, he told us to get them ourselves. We were so terrified that we couldn’t sleep all night and checked out early in the morning. The Google images are deceptive and fake, it doesn’t look like that at all. OYO, please check with the owner and try to improve things, otherwise people staying there are at risk.

The room wasn’t clean, smelled bad and had poor hygiene. VASU was very weird and wouldn’t give us the room at the price we’d booked online. He asked for double the online rate. Please don’t book or plan to stay here. Very bad experience.

I paid online after booking a room through the agoda app, but when I got to the hotel, the receptionist asked for more money. Very disappointing. That receptionist was rude. They also didn’t provide a water bottle, toiletries or an iron box. Please don’t book this hotel online.

The front desk guy was extremely arrogant. I’d booked and paid in advance through OYO for an AC room, and the app clearly said “AC included,” but he claimed it was a non-AC room and demanded an extra 350. Even after I showed him the booking details, he refused to check me in. I left because of his rude, unprofessional behaviour, and they still marked the booking as “checked out” even though I never stayed there. Worse, he photographed my ID card and sent it to someone on WhatsApp without asking me. That’s a serious privacy violation. Avoid this place. There was no customer respect or sense of responsibility. Worst OYO property I’ve ever visited.
