At check-in, around 6:40 AM, the staff told me checkout would be at 7:00 AM the following morning, and I agreed to stay on that basis. Yet around 6:20 to 6:25 the next morning, a Bengali staff boy banged loudly on my door and rudely demanded I leave by 6:40 or pay extra. That was disturbing and completely different from what I’d been told. The staff behaved badly, with no respect for guests, and the management seemed very poor. I wouldn’t recommend this place. Save your money and stay elsewhere.

I checked in at 6:49 AM after staff told me I could check out at 7:00 AM the next day. At 6:30 the following morning, a Bengali staff boy knocked on my door aggressively and said I had to leave by exactly 6:49 or pay extra. It was disturbing to be treated that way so early, especially after being given different information at check-in. Guests shouldn’t be harassed or spoken to rudely. The management needs to get its information straight. I can’t recommend this place.

I don’t often leave negative reviews, but one staff member was hostile and arrogant when I needed help. Their dismissive, disrespectful manner was insulting, and I got no basic courtesy as a paying guest. It ruined what should have been a pleasant stay. There are plenty of other places where you’ll be treated with dignity, so I’d avoid this one.

Don’t go to this lodge. I stayed for several days without hot water, and the receptionist behaved badly. They also took 400 extra without giving me a bill.

The rooms and prices are both decent, with a cupboard and an old-style TV in each room. The windows mostly look out onto other buildings, and the cluster of hotels here means cellular reception is weak. That may be why the rates are a little lower than at other hotels on the street. The place is tucked away from the main road, so you’ll need to look around to find the three or four hotels in the alley. It’s fine for a day or two, and I’d recommend it.
