We arrived to find that the staff at G star would not honor our OYO booking, saying the amount paid was not enough. It felt like OYO and the hotel were not coordinated at all. The room was dirty, with grime throughout the washroom, and it didn’t seem to have been properly cleaned or maintained for a long time. There was no hot water or bath towels, and breakfast wasn’t provided, so we had to look elsewhere. This made the stay uncomfortable and needlessly difficult. I wouldn’t recommend this place, especially for families. OYO should address these issues and make sure guests aren’t misled or left without basic services.

The staff are kind and keep up a good rapport with guests. We had a really comfortable stay at G star, with very clean rooms. One of the best hotels I’ve used in Chennai. I loved staying here and would happily come back 😍

There was no actual establishment at the address. Another hotel with a slightly different name was there instead, so I had to deal with a hassle cancelling through the booking site. Better to avoid it.
