FabHotel Metro Manor Central Station

The infrastructure is good, but the upkeep is very poor. After the first night, I had to move rooms because the sink was leaking. It would take just Rs.10000/- per room to make the place look better. Although I'd booked online, the receptionist suggested I inspect the room before paying the advance, saying many customers had asked for their advance back.

The rooms had plenty of space, though they could use better upkeep. I was there just one night with my family. We liked how the hotel faces Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, and MGR Central Station is close by. The reception and lounge have a classic look.

Getting around was easy since the property is about 700 meters from the central metro station, and the discounted booking-site rate felt fair. The reception staff's behavior was hard to accept. I asked one of them to show guests respect if he wanted to earn it, but he didn't listen. The toilet door wouldn't shut from inside, and the closet cover wasn't seated properly. I hope management takes the feedback positively and improves its hospitality.

The location made getting around simple, with transport nearby and both Central and Egmore railway stations close. Marina Beach is also nearby, and there’s parking at the hotel. We found good food options in the area, including Buhari for non-veg and Anand Bhavan for veg. The locality is clean now. In the room, the fragrance was nice and cleanliness was awesome.
