I’m not coming back to Bliss Bar, even though it used to be convenient because it was close to my place. This has happened multiple times, and this latest visit completely shook my confidence. After I changed seats, I still saw a cockroach moving around the dining area. For a place serving food, that’s unacceptable and raises serious questions about the kitchen and restaurant upkeep. I’m a frequent visitor, and the hygiene was far below an acceptable standard. Cleanliness should come first when customers trust you with food safety. I strongly urge you to deep clean the dining and kitchen areas, carry out proper pest control, make staff do regular hygiene checks, and train the team on basic cleanliness. I hope you take corrective action urgently, though I doubt you will. If you don’t, one day you’ll face the consequences. With the current setup, customer walk-ins will be zero. I won’t recommend this place. There are plenty of nearby places with better ambience and hygiene, so I’d tell people to go there. In one word, it’s not good. I’d sooner recommend exploring local Tasmac than this bar, since the hygiene is at least the same and you’ll be charged less.

I stayed for 14 days and found it very comfortable. The food was decent and nutritious, and the staff were kind and courteous. Room service especially deserves praise, since I’d return after a hard day to a clean, welcoming room. Kudos to Mr Dipankar and Bijay for all of it. Looking forward to next time. Cheers!

I usually only write reviews when I’m satisfied or dissatisfied. After relocating to Valasaravakkam a few months ago, I was looking for a quality buffet in the Rs.750 to Rs.1000 range, and The Grand Hotel, Porur became my pick. Mr. Sundramoorthi invited us and took great care of us. We visited for New Year 2026 and Valentine's Day celebrations at Funnel restaurant. They had four non-veg dishes and many vegetarian items, along with light music and a warm welcome. The food was fresh. Tiger prawn, Fish orley, Crumb chicken Roll, and Yakni shorba mutton soup were very nice. We had a lovely time and were treated with good hospitality.

The rooms and facilities are okay for the price, but the parking situation is awful. There’s room for only about 6-8 cars, and the staff or owners use two of those spaces. That left two paying customers, including us, parking in an unsafe area. They told us to leave the car outside, where traffic could damage it. If you care about your vehicle, don’t stay here. We booked two king size bed rooms for six people but were given one double bed room. They promised a king size room the next day, but it never happened. They also didn’t change the bedsheets, saying we’d be changing rooms. There’s no complimentary driver room or dormitory facility either. The manager had an attitude and told us, “no parking space you can cancel your rooms and go”.
