The food was a big part of what I enjoyed at Raj Residency. I had a seven-course meal that was among the finest I’ve tried, with Indian flavors and spices handled really well. There’s also an excellent pizzeria next door run by an Italian chef, a nice change if you want Italian pizza. The hotel is conveniently close to business districts and attractions. I travel often for work and have stayed in plenty of hotels around the world. Raj Residency in Chennai stands out as one of my best stays. My luxury room was clean, spacious, and modern, with useful amenities and effective air-conditioning that made it comfortable to unwind after meetings. The view over Chennai was spectacular, and felt both relaxing and inspiring. Service and amenities were excellent for business travel.

Good hotel, really good. The staff were kind. We met Ms Meera, and she was so sweet, came over to say hello and asked if we were enjoying our stay. The food was good and the place had good vibes. We’d like to visit again and recommend it to our family and friends.

Raj Residency is a women's hostel, not a public residency. It’s at No.22 kenate lane opposite to egmore railway station, for women who work at Appolo Hospitals, including doctors, staff nurses, nursing officers, receptionists, and other women workers.

The rooms are awful, with no ventilation and a horrible smell, like rats and feces everywhere. Nothing works, there’s no AC, and the staff are rude and uncooperative. It’s very dirty and smells bad throughout. The location is poor too. It goes by the name G silver on oyo. Worst experience. Don’t pay before seeing the room.

Don’t be fooled by the front appearance. The bathroom had no facilities, was unclean, and the toilet was dirty with a flush that didn’t work. There wasn’t even a mirror. The lift isn’t connected to the generator, so if the power goes out, you have to use the stairs, a big problem for older people. A very bad hotel, good for nothing. I had a terrible experience.
