At Khaleej Residency in Chennai, the owner was exceptionally rude, and there was no room service at all. The place was full of cockroaches and other insects, and felt unhygienic and unsafe. The beds and rooms weren't cleaned. They just folded the sheets and passed them on to the next guest. Staying here feels like a health risk, and you could leave with serious illness or infection. Online platforms should remove hotels with such poor standards and reviews below 3 stars. People can book them by mistake because of attractive offers, then have a horrible stay. Keeping them listed hurts customers and the platform's credibility. Quality and hygiene should come before discounts.

For this price, it was really good. The place was clean and tidy, and the staff were great 💯. We arrived two hours before we were meant to, but the receptionist still let us check in. Bathroom and toilet were well maintained. Definitely worth the price.

The staff treated us terribly. Our room was very dirty, and though we stayed seven days, nobody came to clean it. There was no room service at all. The receptionist and hotel manager were extremely rude and fraudulent. At checkout they demanded more money even though we'd paid the fixed amount, and in the end we had to pay extra for no reason. Never book this hotel. Khaleej Residency was the worst experience we've had.

The rooms are okay, but the service is poor. An older man, around his mid-50s, was especially rude and kept banging on our door over small things. His behaviour made our day horrible. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
