The location and Wi-Fi were the only acceptable parts of our stay. I booked two rooms for my family, hoping for somewhere comfortable, but it was a disaster and nowhere near worth the money. The place fell short on hygiene, basic upkeep, and guest care, and I would strongly advise families against staying here. Both rooms had leaking bathroom commodes. The blankets and sheets were dirty and torn, with holes that looked deliberately made. A foul smell lingered in the rooms even after staff sprayed air freshener, which only covered it briefly. Parking wasn’t properly provided. We were told to leave the car on the footpath, then warned to move it before 9:00 AM or the police would clamp the wheels. That was stressful and ridiculous. Staff were rude and unhelpful. After several follow-ups, all they gave us was a small handwash soap. There were no complimentary water bottles, and towels came only after repeated requests.

The manager was rude and wouldn’t give a proper answer. Of the three rooms we booked, the AC didn’t work in two, and the taps barely supplied water. The room itself was filthy, with lots of little cockroaches and lizards. The hotel photos on its website and Goibibo are very old. I’d never recommend it. It’s the worst hotel in Chennai.

I had a very bad stay and wouldn’t recommend bringing your family here. The bathroom taps and drainage were in very poor shape, and the service was bad too. The AC wasn’t working, so I had to change rooms in the middle of the night.

The rooms were okay, but the bathroom was very dirty. At 12:30 at night, a drunk staff member banged on my door asking for a matchbox and some money. When I checked out the next day, the reception staff argued with me because I wanted to pay by UPI. It was a bitter, horrible experience. I wouldn’t stay here.

I booked a room for one day for an office meeting and paid 1400 Rs. At reception I asked whether it was AC or non-AC and was told it was AC. Once I got upstairs, I found the AC wasn’t fully working and the fan didn’t work either. The person who showed me the room insisted the AC was fine and said it would cool down in 20 minutes. After a long discussion, the manager came to check both the AC and fan, then arranged another room. Its AC also wasn’t fully functional, but at least the fan worked, so I managed. I can’t recommend this residency.
