The room was filthy, from the floor and bedspread to the bathroom, door, and window screen. The toilet reminded me of a public restroom. The TV didn’t work, and there was no drinking water, towel, or toiletries. I booked through brevistay, but at check-in a rude receptionist said they wouldn’t honor bookings made there. When I asked why the booking was available, he told me to call customer care. He only agreed to give me a room after I raised my voice. Better to stay away and avoid the regret.

We left early the next morning and booked somewhere else, even though we’d reserved two nights. We’d booked through Oyo for 650, but at check-in they demanded 800 extra. I refused and tried calling Oyo, but couldn’t reach customer care. They treated us like an unmarried couple, and the staff’s behavior was awful. The room wasn’t clean, and this place isn’t fit for a human stay. Oyo and its hotels feel like scammers, indirectly blackmailing couples. The owner replies to every bad review but nothing changes at the hotel. Maybe the replies are bots.

The bed was dirtier than the toilet, and the toilets themselves were filthy. The rooms are badly maintained and the hygiene is about as poor as it gets. The AC was broken, there was no water supply, and the TV didn’t work. It was a horrible experience and a waste of money. Don’t trust the OYO photos, they may have been taken when the building was first built, ages ago. I suspect many of the OYO reviews are fake. I’ve attached photos for reference.

We prepaid the full amount through Agoda, but the hotel still refused to check us in and demanded more money on arrival. The Agoda voucher showed no balance due. When we asked why there was an extra charge, reception told us to take it up with Agoda. I’d booked the room for our guest from north India. After we refused to pay, they said to ask Agoda for a refund and go search for another hotel on the road. The staff spoke so rudely that it felt as if they thought they were giving rooms away for free. We felt awful. Don’t book here. The behavior was extremely rude.

The room was dirty, there was no bathroom light, no telecom, and no gizzard. They didn’t give me complimentary breakfast either. The receptionist and owner were both rowdy types. Even after I paid cash, they told me to leave the next day. They wouldn’t take online payment and demanded double the internet price in cash, which felt like fraud and harassment. Oyo should ban this hotel. One of my worst Oyo stays. These people are like characters from the movies. Be careful. :(
