I’d booked for two days, but left right away and wanted to cancel the second night. They said that wasn’t possible, even though the site offered free cancellation. If you want a peaceful stay, keep away from this place. It didn’t seem suitable for a family or for anyone looking for cleanliness. The switchboards were broken, the mirrors were damaged, the blankets stained, and the room smelled. There were no dustbins or floor mats, even in the bathroom. The bathroom shower pipe had no water supply, so you had to fill a mug from the sink pipe. The AC was pathetic, among other problems.

After four failed booking attempts and financial losses, I’m uninstalling the app, deleting my account, and won’t use Oyo again. Its operations are unacceptable. This was worse than even the risk of gambling, and nothing like the photos. Twice, I was charged over 1500 rupees extra after paying through the Oyo app. The hotel then refused to let me in until Oyo settled the difference, leaving me waiting in the lobby for two hours. In the end I couldn’t occupy the room I’d booked. It had no working toilet or running water, visible damage, and vomit on the ceiling. There were bed bugs and cockroaches too. It was as bad as it could get.

We were left outside until midnight, feeling stranded and increasingly unsafe. I contacted the booking platform about the problem, but heard nothing before 12. For our safety, I gave up and started looking for another hotel. The worst experience, and I wouldn’t recommend anyone visit this cheap hotel. The management were rude and fraudulent. We arrived to check in around 10.30 pm. The receptionist and security were very rude, and the receptionist demanded an extra Rs. 500 despite our online booking. When we refused and asked why, they showed a QR code and shoved us away, making us wait outside.

We stayed with family for two days, and it was a bad place to stay. The door sensor kept ringing and made it hard to sleep. When we asked to change rooms, we were told that was just how the sensor worked and we’d have to adjust. The place was very unhygienic, with tiny cockroaches everywhere, getting into our luggage and clothes. The floor was sticky, the bathroom dirty, and the sheets looked as if they hadn’t been changed in ages.
