For nearly ₹10,000, I expected comfort, but my New Year stay at Regenta OMR near Marina Mall was stressful and didn't come close to the price or promises. Dinner was included in the package, then cancelled for New Year arrangements without clear notice when I booked. Breakfast the next morning was poor, with few choices and low quality. The room wasn't ready properly either. It had no hair dryer, hand wash, or shower gel, and each time I called reception it took almost 20 minutes for someone to bring what was missing. Pool maintenance staff were particularly rude, making an already disappointing special occasion uncomfortable. I found the service attitude lacking courtesy and professionalism throughout. I wouldn't recommend this place for a family stay or an important occasion.

We believed this was a standard hotel and that taking a plan there would be safe. Instead, Onyx Tourist Planner manipulated us into buying a membership and cheated us. From the start, the whole thing felt fraudulent. The hotel is very bad for allowing these activities, apparently for commission, and seems focused on money.

The hotel is opposite SIPCOT IT park, near Navalur toll gate and Marina Mall. The rooms were good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. There was a range of food at the breakfast buffet, plus tea and coffee available 24*7.

Lavanya deserves special thanks for the excellent service. The staff were warm and professional, and room service was exceptional. I also enjoyed the buffet dining and the amenities, including the theater and multiple swimming pools. An excellent stay in Chennai, highly recommended for a 5-star experience.

The stay was good, especially with Marina Mall right next door, and Regenta has decent rooms and great hospitality. Breakfast could use work: if you're there longer, you'll keep seeing almost the same food.
