We ended up sleeping in a very hot room with no working AC. The AC had failed, and although we reported it to reception, nobody took responsibility or gave us a proper response. After that went nowhere, we contacted the person we'd been connected to through Google. He gave us another number and said he was the manager, Mr Augastine. He spoke to us very rudely, saying he didn't know who we were or anything about the property, and sent us back to reception, where nobody could help. We got fed up with all the back and forth. The management and team felt totally irresponsible. It was a very bad stay. The rude attitude and lack of responsibility were awful, and I wouldn't recommend booking here. Think twice before you do.

Parking is limited to four vehicles, but Arun and Vasanthi, who are in charge, are courteous. I haven't tried breakfast here. Since it's just off Pondy Bazzar, there are plenty of nearby choices, including Hotel Saravana Bhavan, Balajee Bhavan and Sangeetha's for South Indian breakfast. I've stayed three times. The rooms and linens were well maintained, the AC worked properly, and there was hot water. The location is a real plus, though room prices could still be more competitive.

The room itself was very good, with a neat look and a nice ambience, and the price was good too. Parking is cramped, though. Someone scratched my car, and there was no CCTV in the parking area.

We paid upfront for day use after booking through agoda, but at the hotel Vasanthi at reception said they had no booking. We showed the reservation, and all three reception staff kept denying it. They were also very rude and misleading. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The service and staff behaviour were so bad that it felt like a waste of time.

In my opinion, this was a terrible hotel and one of the worst in Chennai. Rich inn hotel koyambedu bus stand is 10000 times better by comparison. The AC and restroom light didn't work, the bed was dusty and dirty, and the room wasn't properly cleaned. There was human hair everywhere. A really awful experience for me, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
