I've travelled often and stayed at OYO in different parts of the country, but this was the worst experience. Don't trust the 4.7-star rating in the OYO app. I booked and paid online 3 days before my stay, then was refused check-in because they wouldn't accept card payment. They told me to call OYO customer care, and I waited more than an hour at the front desk. Eventually I was told to cancel and book again. The room and bathroom were filthy and stained, nothing like OYO standards. I had booked 2 nights but checked out the next day because I couldn't sleep there another night.

The room was in terrible shape and nowhere near the photos online. The toilet was so bad I couldn't even step inside to take a picture. I paid online, but when I arrived they argued that OYO doesn't give them the money for online payments and demanded cash. At the last moment they forcefully collected an extra 300Rs. Don't be fooled by the low price, they charge you more anyway, and you could book a decent hotel for that.

My father and I came from Kerala and chose this hotel for half a day while we were going to QVC. The rooms were very dirty, there was no privacy for women, and the bathroom was so filthy it made me vomit. The flush didn't work properly, and water from the open wash base under the tube ran across the floor. The flush tank had a problem too. When we went out and came back, the door was open and our bags had been moved around.

I booked through the OYO app for rs.605, but at the hotel they said they only took cash and asked for rs.757. They said the extra was GST, and when I questioned it, they told me to book with GST or leave. The customer service was terrible, and the room floor felt sticky underfoot. Don't visit and get fooled.

They keep bothering you every hour about checkout time. Don't trust the OYO ratings either, they ask to use your phone to give themselves 5 stars. Don't hand your mobile to the receptionist.
