Super Hotel O Valasaravakkam Metro Mall

The attendant was rude and no help, and neither the TV nor the AC worked. The toilet was dirty, cockroaches were all over the room, and the water looked unsafe to use (see attached photos). It honestly felt like we were pressured to leave a positive review, and I have doubts about the good reviews here. Completely unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend it.

The staff were really polite, supportive, and helpful throughout my stay 😊. The rooms were nice and the stay was comfortable. There's a dog here that might seem dangerous at first, but it's actually very friendly and not aggressive at all 🐶😁. A pleasant, welcoming place. Highly recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The two rooms I was shown were filthy, and the second was even worse than the first. The toilet in the first had clearly been used and left unflushed, its bedsheets were dirty, and the walls were filthy and smelled foul. Smoke filled the room and corridor, although I'd specifically asked for a non-smoking room and was assured one would be available. The whole place felt uncomfortable and out of order, and I didn't feel safe spending four days there. I had booked a stay at the Super O hotel in Valasaravakkam, Chennai. On arrival, I noticed the name on the sign didn't match. When I asked the manager about it, he confirmed the hotel name but was disrespectful and unprofessional. He tossed me a key and told me to go upstairs in a completely inappropriate way. When I raised my concerns about the first room, he didn't take them seriously and just handed me another key. The staff's behavior and appearance made me feel unsafe, and I started to question whether the Google reviews were genuine. I decided not to check in and left, asking for a refund. The hotel said it wouldn't refund me because I'd booked through Agoda and told me to contact Agoda. Agoda politely said the property wasn't accepting a refund, so I still don't know what the proper solution is. In the end, I paid the property without staying even one minute.

I had to check out right after checking in. The rooms were filthy, the bedsheet was old, and there were cockroaches. Beer bottles were left outside the rooms, with cigarettes and condoms tossed in the area below the window. The pictures are misleading. This place isn't suitable for families.
