The food was a highlight for me, fresh, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. The hotel is tranquil, beautiful, and very clean, and my comfortable room felt like a little sanctuary. From arrival, the staff were warm, friendly, and always smiling. Their attention to detail made the stay feel personal. They handled every request promptly and professionally, and it was clear they cared about making my visit a good one.

Spencer Plaza and the newer EA Mall are right by Taj Connemara, making it easy to get to major shopping centres and traditional clothing stores around Chennai. Travelling with a toddler can be hard, but the team made our short trip smooth and enjoyable. Before we checked in, Ms Jasmine kept up with our requests to childproof the Heritage Room and coordinated the details with her team: extra mineral water, furniture bumpers, bath soft toys, and a great baby cot. Our daughter also received a lovely welcome gift of baby skincare products from an established brand. We had a cosy room, plenty of toiletries, and an excellent breakfast. Mr Baskaran took care of our breakfast requests for our daughter, and she loved the baby dosa. The staff were polite and hospitable throughout, making the trip memorable for all of us. Thanks to everyone at Taj Connemara. We look forward to coming back soon.

Verandah Restaurant’s buffet was phenomenal, with excellent presentation and a thoughtful range of dishes. There was live light music, and the pool view made the meal even more pleasant. The staff were wonderfully polite and kind, and would even arrange something that wasn’t on the menu. They made the day special. The traditional heritage building has an old-fashioned style that feels like a small palace. It’s right in the heart of the city, just 100 metres from busy Mount Road. A must for lunch or dinner with family, friends, or colleagues.

This was the first stop on our holiday, and it was fantastic. Check-in went smoothly, the staff were wonderful and made an effort to keep us comfortable, and the food was very good. Our room was clean and tidy too. We’ll come again. Thanks, and keep up the good work.

Staying in the colonial block at Taj Connemara exceeded my expectations. The property feels like a living palace, and the elegant rooms are well appointed. The facilities went beyond what I expected, while the food was consistently excellent. Mr. Dubier, Shilpa, and Jasmine deserve credit for setting a rare standard of warm, precise hospitality. Taj Connemara has earned my loyalty, and I’d happily return again even with other places tempting me to try something new.
