The welcome at reception was cheerful, and the massages were good for me and made my wife really happy. The boatman on our shikara ride was kind, though the ride started 20 minutes late and the shikara broke down along the way. The restaurant had lots of items, amazing sweets and very good live counters, but most of the other food was below average, and the North Indian breads were awful. We paid nearly 3500 per person for three meals. Room service was frustrating: our juice took an hour, and a towel took almost 30 minutes. The restaurant manager seemed distracted and unready to help, and everyone there looked disengaged. The Fun Club staff member also sounded more interested in judging us than serving us. The masseuse hurried off for tea after the massage while I was still drinking the herbal drink. Infrastructure was generally good, though doors had no stoppers, which was irritating but manageable. Planning seemed much like other CM properties. As a CM member for almost four years, I expected more. It wasn’t a bad stay, but the service felt unsatisfactory overall.

We stayed for three days with the whole family, including our sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren. The resort is compact but has all the amenities. The kids had a great time in the pool, the evening entertainment was good, and the food was very good.

We came as a team of about 60 and spent nearly a full day and night here. The rooms and the view were a good experience, and the swimming pool was neat and clean and in excellent condition. We were especially pleased with the service from the restaurant, and the food was tasty with a wide variety of dishes. Very satisfied, thanks.

Our check-in happened to fall on our wedding anniversary. Ms. Preethi and Ms. Diki surprised us by bringing a lovely cake to our room, and we celebrated together. The team’s genuine warmth made the gesture especially touching. Thank you to Team Arukutty for making the day so memorable. We had a wonderful stay.

The pool had no attendant and was shallow, underfilled and poorly maintained. We also tried heading toward the backwaters behind the resort, but the strong smell of faeces was disgusting. Our single bedroom was cramped and badly planned, with lots of space wasted outside. Service was prompt, but we had to ask for everything. There was no microwave or fridge, the ceiling fan didn’t work, and we had no Wi-Fi during our stay.
