The beach is only a few meters away, and you can reach it even at night. It felt private and wasn’t crowded. There are five rooms at the homestay, with home-cooked food, free parking, and wifi available. It seems well suited to couples, families, or solo travelers wanting some quiet time. I stayed on the night of December 31. The room and bed were small for two people, but Jeffin arranged an extra bed at no charge.

We’d had candlelight dinners before, but the one Jeffin arranged on the beach will probably stay at the top of our list. The setting and location were excellent, and every detail of the arrangements felt just right. His mom made delicious food. It was an experience we never expected, and a once-in-a-lifetime one.

We booked through Agoda a month ahead, but three days before the stay they began messaging us through the app to cancel, without giving a valid reason. When we called two days before check-in, they told us to cancel through Agoda or whatever, said they were fully booked, and hung up. Really cheap, unprofessional behavior. We’re now stuck halfway through our holiday without a place to stay. Keep a backup booking if you book with these people.

The candlelight dinner they arranged as a surprise was a highlight. It was casual but clearly put together with care, and the atmosphere and food made it unforgettable. The hotel itself has a warm, welcoming feel, with a beautiful setting and the beach just a short walk away. The person looking after us was especially kind and attentive, and went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. A relaxing, delightful stay, and I highly recommend the place.
