The Canaan Marari Hotel

The homemade Kerala breakfast was a real highlight, and the host was exceptionally kind and friendly. The place is surrounded by trees and felt calm, peaceful and refreshing. We really enjoyed staying here. Thank you for making it comfortable and memorable.

The garden was such a lovely part of this nature-filled homestay, with all kinds of plants, fruit and flowers, and kept so well. It was a new experience for me and a great one. A sweet family runs the place and were very helpful. Travel is easy to arrange from here.

I first booked this resort for New Year 2025 with my cousins, and we had so much fun. The food was delicious, cooked in the resort kitchen while we were there. More recently, I arranged accommodation here for relatives attending my sister's wedding. They were all happy with the rooms and service. The caretakers were kind, friendly and available whenever we needed help. I was also given flexibility with arrival and departure times, which made it much easier to coordinate everyone’s check-in and check-out without rushing. I’m fully satisfied and would recommend this place to anyone. As far as I know, it’s the best resort in mararikulam. Thanks to Canaan.

Mr. Paulson, the owner, was a big help throughout our visit. He explained the area and nearby amenities, and helped arrange transport, local trips and pickups. His support made things easy and comfortable for our family of 13. We also loved the peaceful setting at The Canaan and the delicious food, especially the exceptionally fresh, flavorful fish and prawns fry. We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it for the warm hospitality, food and pleasant stay.
