The lake nearby gives the place a nice view, and there’s plenty of parking. We stayed for one night as a family, and the two rooms suited us well. The fan in one bedroom didn’t work at all, though, so we moved into the hall where it did. It was late and the receptionist ignored our complaint, so we just got through the night. A bit of maintenance and someone dedicated to managing the place would make a big difference. The wall painting looked good too.

The rooms were in awful shape. Only two or three seemed clean and looked after; the rest were junk. Our room was filthy, with stained sheets, lizard droppings everywhere, a dirty bathroom, no working water heater, and no light. The receptionist was rude and wouldn’t even give us soap. OYO’s helpline was no help either. They said the rooms were full even though I could see several empty ones. They apparently don’t have a system for online bookings, but you only find that out after you arrive, when the refund window for your online payment has closed. Don’t be fooled by the nice pictures. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, let alone my worst enemy.

Don't pay for an online booking here. The owner won't accept it and expects more money than the advertised price. If you've already paid, the platform may say it can't reach the owner and refuse a refund, leaving you out of pocket.

I've had OYO bookings turned down many times because hotels had ended their contracts while OYO was still advertising their rooms. So the booking issue described in earlier reviews doesn't surprise me. When I dealt with the owner directly, though, he and his staff treated me very kindly, and the price we agreed on felt fair for what was provided.

They confirmed my booking, then wouldn't let me into a room. The staff were also very poor at communicating. Looking at the profile, the positive reviews seem to be from people rating OYO, which makes me think they may be OYO marketing agents.
