There is decent parking inside the property, and the staff were polite and helpful. It’s close to the main road and easy to reach, and seemed suitable for safe family stays or trips with friends. But staff lacked responsibility with bookings, and the smell of alcohol in some parts of the building could be uncomfortable for families. I had booked and paid in full online, and called ahead to say I’d check in late. They said that was fine. When I arrived in the evening after visiting nearby places, reception told me all rooms were full. I showed my confirmation and they made a call. I understood from the conversation that they’d tried to call me while I was on a hill with no mobile signal, then gave my room to other guests because I was unreachable. They told me to cancel and contact customer care for a refund, but that didn’t work. Since I was with my family, I asked them to arrange something. They eventually offered one available room, much smaller than the one I’d booked, and I accepted because there was no alternative. It wasn’t cool that day, so I asked for the AC remote. They refused, saying the room was non-AC and I’d need to pay an extra ₹400 to use the AC. I explained I’d booked an AC room online and the unit was already in the room, but they still insisted the amount I paid was for a non-AC room. It was a very disappointing stay because of poor room management and the way they handled confirmed bookings. If you book online, call to confirm and try to check in as early as possible. Even after full payment, they may give your room to someone else.

The food was surprisingly good for the price, fresh and tasty, and it arrived on time. The staff were polite and helpful, and the rooms were clean. It’s budget-friendly but has what you need for a comfortable stay, with easy access and major spots nearby. A cheap and best place to stay in Chikkamagaluru if you want good food too. Highly recommended! 🌟

The rooms felt like closed toilet cabins, and there were no proper bed lamps. A monitor is sitting there being called a TV. There’s no hot water or WIFI, either. Parking is in a narrow lane, and you may be asked to move your vehicle when someone else needs to pass. The worst experience of my life. If you’re with family, don’t even think of booking here.

I traveled 250+ km with a confirmed Agoda booking, only to be told at reception that the hotel would NOT honor it. After that happened, I checked the low-rated reviews and saw many guests reporting the same problem with Agoda bookings being denied. It seems like a repeated practice, not a one-off. They showed no accountability, apology, or basic human decency. It feels like if they get a higher-paying booking, they’re willing to cancel or deny existing confirmed reservations. Their greed cost me hours, caused unnecessary stress, and forced me to spend extra money on another hotel at the last minute. This isn’t how a legitimate hotel operates. It feels like a systematic scam targeting third-party bookings.

After a long trip, we arrived only to be turned away. They said they don't accept Agoda bookings and blamed the listing on Agoda on the previous owner. Shameless behavior, they lied and cheated us.
