There are plenty of restaurants nearby, so it was easy to go out for meals. The Robusta Inn is also convenient for getting around, right in the city centre and about 500 metres from the Chikmagalur bus stop. Our room was spacious, clean, and equipped with the essentials, and the staff were professional, courteous, and helpful. The property was well maintained and very clean.

There were holes in the bedspread, comforter, and towel, and I even found a cockroach in the room. The problems start from the parking and continue into the rooms. At 9 in the morning the reception staff seemed sleepy and didn't answer the intercom. This is easily the last place I'd want to stay.

Good value and easy to reach in the heart of the city. Just note that breakfast isn't included.

The location is prime, and the room and restroom were clean and tidy. Parking for the car was cramped. There's no restaurant inside, though with so many hotels nearby, that wasn't really necessary.

We stayed at Robusta Inn in the first week of May 25. The rooms were decent, and overall it was a good place to recommend, but the parking was a nightmare. The basement has a U-turn, and I struggled to get the car out the next day, so I chose to park alongside the road instead. The fridge in our room looked like a cupboard and didn't cool. When I asked to change rooms for our three-day stay, reception said all the fridges were the same and weren't working. Having to go across the road to another restaurant for breakfast is a bad idea.
