Treebo ESS Grande

There’s a pleasant fresh smell, and the room was nice. The location is prime, with plenty of underground parking and courteous staff. There’s a restaurant on site, and other choices nearby to suit different tastes. The room didn’t have a mini fridge.

I was left stranded after Treebo Ess Grande refused to let me stay, even though I’d booked and paid in full through the Booking.com app. I arrived on the 31st and was told that people from the same district weren’t allowed. That restriction hadn’t appeared in the app or during booking, and then they demanded proof that I came from another district. That felt unreasonable and discriminatory. Booking.com support was only available through WhatsApp chat, with no phone option or prompt help. The hotel blamed Booking.com, and Booking.com blamed the hotel. Neither took responsibility, and I lost my money without a refund or resolution. My experience included full payment taken, a room denied on arrival, an undisclosed rule, and no effective customer support. It felt scam-like, was very stressful, and cost me time and money. Treebo Ess Grande and Booking.com both failed to take responsibility. I strongly warn people not to book this hotel or trust Booking.com if there’s a problem. I won’t book again.

The restaurant food could use more flavor. Still, the room was good for the price, and after two nights I was satisfied. Service was good, and it was easy to talk with the staff in English. A good place to stay.

Late at night, our cab driver had a severe stomach ache and was refused access to a restroom. We’d brought guests here as a tour operator with a cab driver, but the staff simply said restrooms weren’t allowed and showed no consideration for a basic human need. I found that inhumane and unacceptable. I won’t come back or recommend the place.
