Treebo Vinayak Inn

The staff member who checked us in was very helpful. But around 2 am, I spotted two large bed bugs and saw what looked like bed bug traces along the edge of the mattress. I told reception, and they moved us to another room. We asked to check that bed first. The two boys moving it around didn’t seem willing to help and pushed it back into the corner with their feet. Five minutes after we moved, a bed bug crawled out of the pillowcase. I showed the case to reception, and they changed my pillow and asked, “Now, is it ok?” I was very upset that they weren’t taking the problem seriously. The way they handled things in front of me as a customer was rude and unprofessional. When I complained about their response, they called the manager, who asked what I wanted. I said I wanted a clean room, if they even had one. We were moved to a third room, which my friend and I inspected with the same two boys following us around but not helping. It was already 3 am. We couldn’t sleep, the pillows in the new room were gross, and it was right next to the first room with the bed bug family. I wouldn’t recommend staying here because of the bed bugs and the way they weren’t treated seriously. It made me feel they didn’t care about fixing the problem. The unprofessional way they treated their customers was very disappointing. Make your own decision.

The staff were polite, and the service and location were good. They also agreed that the hotel’s standards didn’t match the pictures Treebo showed, and said Treebo was looking into it. I’m waiting for a positive response, but posting this so others aren’t misled by the images. The bathroom was very dirty, as shown in the attached pictures. The website showed a buffet and dining room, but the dining setup is in a nearby hotel. Seeing its pictures would be a shock after what was advertised. The rooms definitely don’t look like the website photos either. Treebo has failed to review the hotel’s condition regularly, which reflects badly on the brand. The washroom and dining area pictures are in no way comparable to what was shown online.

We spent 11 nights and 12 days in Room 502 and had a very comfortable, pleasant stay. The location was convenient, and the desk and housekeeping staff provided professional service that met expectations. Mr Tapan Ghosh deserves a special mention for this. Thank you, Karthick Sir.

The manager was polite, cooperative, and ready to help with whatever we needed. The rest of the staff were friendly and professional too. For such a reasonable price, the service felt like excellent value. I loved the warm, elegant ambience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. It was a peaceful, well-maintained place, and I’d definitely recommend staying here.
