I had booked an AC room online three days earlier for one night, February 10 to 11, and paid the full amount. I was in Cuttack for a railway exam on February 11. My train was three and a half hours late, so I reached the hotel at 11:25 pm. The receptionist was rude and refused to give me the room from my booking. He demanded an extra 400 and said there was no room available under my booking, telling me to complain online. I showed him my admit card and explained I had an exam the next day, then asked him to call the manager, but he refused. After about 20 minutes of arguing, I said I’d call the police if he didn’t give me a room. Only then did he give me a non-AC room, even though I had booked AC. They didn’t provide drinking water either. If you’re going to an exam, mental peace matters more than anything, so try to avoid this hotel.

The location is only average, and there’s no UPS or power backup. The rooms themselves were quite good and comfortable.

The administration treated me very badly. I booked online through booking.com, which said the final payment was due at the hotel counter, but staff called me at midnight asking for an unnecessary price increase. This hotel should stop taking online bookings, and hospitality booking sites should delist it.

The bathroom was extremely dirty, and the bed and pillow were dirty too. The AC, fan, and TV weren’t working. It was a very bad experience, and my mother was just as dissatisfied.

The stay was very disappointing. The sheets and blankets had visible stains and marks and clearly hadn’t been washed, and there was no door mat. Room switches didn’t work, and none of the remotes for the TV, set-top box, or AC worked. There was no power backup during outages. They didn’t provide mineral water, just Aqua Guard water in dirty bottles, and they charged us extra unfairly. Maintenance, cleanliness, and service were all poor. It wasn’t worth the money.
