The Marwar

The vegetarian food we got through room service was tasty, though there is no onsite restaurant. Staff were polite, but the front desk could be more professional. The billing also felt inappropriate: they charged GST but asked us to pay a personal account instead of the hotel account. We booked two rooms at Hotel Marwar for a recent 2-night stay. The rooms were clean, but had no windows, so we needed to keep the lights and AC on all the time. It felt a little overpriced for the location and access. The hotel is tucked inside a very narrow lane, which makes it hard for larger vehicles like SUVs to get in. The Google photos don't show the entrance accurately, which could mislead first-time visitors. Hotel Marwar may work for guests who are fine with a narrow-lane location and basic facilities, but those wanting a more convenient and professional stay might look at other nearby options.

Really enjoyed our stay at The Marwar. The rooms were great, and the food was very good too. Better than 99% of the hotels in cuttack.

The roads are quite narrow in Cuttack, but when we left in a tempo traveller, the staff guided the van themselves and managed traffic until we reached the main road. That extra help made our trip comfortable. Raju Bhaiyya was always there when we needed him, and the whole team was kind, polite and helpful. We were a big group with multiple rooms, booked after reading the online reviews. The rooms were neat and tidy when we checked in, and the food was very good. I'd definitely recommend this hotel. Many thanks to the team for going the extra mile.

The spacious room was really beautiful, and the owner has good taste. The reception team were cooperative and very well mannered. One star off for the location and food taste.
