The Regal Banquets and Rooms

I couldn't get basic items like a hair kit or shaving kit because I was told they weren't available. The staff seemed untrained and unprofessional, and when I brought this up, the manager was rude and unhelpful. Rather than address my concerns, he said I should have checked these things before booking. I expected better from a hotel of this caliber and can't recommend it after this disappointing stay.

The location was convenient, with both the bus depot and railway station about 2-3 km away. My room and the surroundings were neat and clean, and I especially liked the room service. They were always quick to help. The staff behaved well and were very helpful.

The property is well maintained, and the staff are supportive. It seems the rooms are mainly built for people attending functions held there. Worth considering for a quick, short stay.

I'm only reviewing the rooms since we stayed overnight. The staff were courteous and accommodating, and the rooms were clean, spacious, and had good bedding. But poor ventilation, mosquitoes, and the policy of not providing a toiletry kit lowered the quality of the stay. The shower partition is oddly partial, so the whole bathroom gets wet when you shower.
