They didn't provide any amenities, not even soap or drinking water.

The worst stay of my life. It wasted our time and vacation, and the place felt insecure. We had to find somewhere else the next day. The staff were unfriendly and uncooperative. Although smoking rooms were mentioned, smoking anywhere on the premises was prohibited, with a ₹500 fine, according to the authorities. After 10 pm, staff switched off the lights in the common areas, stairs and bathrooms. Even when we asked, they wouldn't let us turn them back on. After 8 pm, staff were drunk and tried to bother the girls in our group. The bathrooms were dirty and full of snails and insects, and we found used condoms in the bathroom and closets. They had said there was a separate car park, but there wasn't. The bed had no proper mattress, and the blankets stank. All the rooms were damp, small and cramped, with poor lighting and tiny windows that made ventilation bad. Someone's vomit was spilled in the corridor and on the stairs.

The food was awful, and the workers kept making disruptive noise as they worked until late in the evening. The owner and other service staff seemed barely concerned about guests. This was one of the worst homestays I've been to in Lebong. Don't plan to stay here on a visit to Darjeeling.

Benu Ma'am was welcoming and cooked delicious food, but the partner's management of the stay was terrible. On my first night of a two-day stay, I was made to sleep in the photos attached. It was chilly, and the door didn't have a proper lock. Extremely disappointing. Confirm your booking before going, and better yet, find another hostel. Hope this helps :)
