We stayed at Hotel Ratan Mahal while visiting Pitambari Peeth in Datia, Madhya Pradesh, on our recent trip from the UAE. The restaurant Shahi Darbar served delicious food at breakfast and lunch, with good variety and attentive service. Mr. Anil Savita gave us thoughtful support, and Mr. Arvind Agarwal, the owner of Hotel Ratan Mahal, deserves congratulations for running such a well-kept, guest-focused property. We felt at home from check-in, thanks to the warm reception and genuine welcome from the staff. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and well maintained. The food was a highlight, and the prices felt reasonable for the quality and portions. We had tomato soup, a paneer sizzler, and gulab jamun for dessert, and everything was delicious. The staff and service were lovely too. Hotel Ratan Mahal is a huge, heritage-style building, quite a sight in a small city like Datia. The lighting and chandeliers are attractive, and the dining area has a calm, soothing feel. We had a great time. Thanks, Team Hotel Ratan Mahal. We'll definitely come back.

The stay was very good. One bathroom improvement: glass doors would keep shower water from spreading into the commode area. It gets inconvenient when one person is bathing and the next needs to use the washroom. A wiper in each bathroom would also help clear the spilled water.

Mr. Apurva looked after us throughout the meal, polite and attentive, and made sure everything was right. The food at the Hotel Ratan Mahal restaurant was hot, fresh, full of flavor, and delicious. Great hospitality too. I'd recommend eating here.
