The bathroom was good and the shower pressure was just right, but the room had light stains on the blankets, chairs, and most surfaces that weren’t glass or tile. They weren’t terrible, yet they made me think I might try a different hotel next time I’m in Davanagere. The rooms are decent, just not up to Bangalore standards. I also had to buy a toothbrush and toothpaste at a grocery store because none were provided. The restaurant was a bigger letdown. Room service took an hour to bring food after I called, then another hour to clear it away, and the meal was only okay. At reception, the woman was polite, while the men in jackets were rude and unwelcoming. Luckily, I barely had to deal with them.

The complimentary breakfast had very little choice, with no dosas to order, and the omelette took a while to arrive. Parking security’s valet guard also offers car washing for a fee. The rooms and facilities were clean, but the Wi-Fi was slow at times and unreliable. Its security also seemed poor, so avoid money transfers while using it.

The rooms were clean and good, but service has slipped since our previous visit. Breakfast was quite limited, and the benne dosa and omelette options we had before were no longer available to order. Room service was poor too. I had to call three times to follow up on our order.

We were a group of 15-18 for a friend’s wedding, and the staff treated us well. When we checked out the next morning, the valet parking attendant had washed our car, which was nice. The hospitality made for a good stay, and I’d say it was worth it.
