Hotel Himalayan

The bathrooms were quite spacious, and the rooms were kept very clean, though they were a little small. The room cooling worked well too. It’s close to most of the banquets and farm houses that host marriages and functions, and liquor shops were within 2km. We did end up waking the front neighbour, so the rooms could use better soundproofing.

It’s clear the people running this place haven’t learned from the feedback and reviews already posted on Google. The complaints about poor hygiene, unclean wash rooms, bed sheets and pillows, dusty floors, bad food, and insensitive, untrained staff are all true. I had to think hard about whether this even qualifies as a hotel, rather than an average boarding/lodging place. If you want a comfortable stay somewhere clean and can pay a little more for basic things like a clean room and bed, a clean washroom, hot water, food hygiene, a clean, running kitchen, and wifi, this isn’t the place to choose.

I stayed here for 3 night and 4 days, which gave me enough time to get a feel for the place. The trained staff can handle both individuals and crowds. The rooms are a good size and very clean, and the attached toilets are clean too. There’s ample parking and easy access to the road, which makes this an easy choice. The hotel also has power backup, an RO water system, and centrally heated water. I’d be happy to recommend it.

The room itself wasn’t clean, and the washroom was in bad shape, with a black-stained toilet. The pillow covers and bed sheets had oily stains too. Our rooms still weren’t ready at check-in time. Please pay attention to basic room cleanliness.
