MV Acosta by Lawrence hotels

The Executive Valley View Rooms are worth booking if you want the best view. We had a great stay, with a stunning outlook over the Kempty Fall valley. The room was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, and the staff were polite, helpful, and available. Chef Raghuveer deserves a special mention for the delicious meals. Breakfast was especially good, with around 8-10 options across cuisines, including South and North Indian dishes, fresh fruit, eggs, dalia, and poha. I’d definitely return.

The only things I liked were the convenient location and the large windows, though those are only in rooms on one side of the building. We didn’t stay here in the end, as the conditions and the way our concerns were handled were unacceptable. The rooms weren’t maintained properly, the bedsheets hadn’t been changed, and the bathroom smelled bad. Its door wouldn’t close properly, leaving parts of the bathroom visible from outside and giving us very little privacy. The staff were rude, and the manager’s response to our complaints was shocking and unprofessional. When we asked to change hotels, nobody addressed the problems. The situation became intimidating, and the gates were even closed when we tried to leave. We had to find somewhere else to stay and lost time and money. This felt more like a lodge, and based on our experience, I wouldn’t recommend it.

The property has a calm, relaxing atmosphere that makes for a peaceful hill getaway. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and great taste, and housekeeping was prompt. I found the rooms spacious, well maintained, and equipped with the modern amenities needed for a comfortable stay. From arrival onward, the staff made me feel welcome and valued. I had a great stay at MV Acosta By Lawrence Hotels and appreciate the management and team for keeping service standards high. Highly recommended for Mussoorie.

The staff seemed to care about our comfort, and the room was tidy. It’s right off the road, so it made for an easy stop, and check-in was quick. For a budget stay, it felt a little nicer than average without extra fees. Good value for the money, and no complaints.
