At 1 a.m., the receptionist marked every room as sold out right in front of us instead of giving us our room. He then gave it to someone who arrived after us. We tried speaking to him politely, but he wouldn't hand over the room. The worst hotel I've ever dealt with. I'm never coming back.
The hotel is actually called City Mall Hotel and Restaurant, not Krishna Hotel. I had a bad stay: although Wi-Fi, TV, and AC were listed, the Wi-Fi didn't reach my room, the TV had no active recharge plan, and the AC didn't cool. My train got in before the 11 a.m. check-in, so I arrived at 7 a.m. and was charged an extra 300 rupees.
The room we got was below average, unclean, and had no amenities. They still hadn't recharged the TV set-top box after I reminded them three times, and staff said Wi-Fi didn't reach the third floor. The hotel staff were polite, though the manager wasn't. Before that, despite confirming by phone, booking through OYO, and paying in advance, we were asked for another ₹500 at check-in. OYO stepped in and sorted that out.
The food was okay, but the bathroom was very dirty and the taps leaked. It really needs cleaning. Morning tea didn't arrive until after 8, which is far too late. It should be served by 7 at least.
The rooms are good, but I didn't like how the staff behaved.
