Anara Homes and Villas - GK II

If they ask for more money after you've paid, pressure you to pay it, or threaten to make you leave the room, they're frauds and the listing should be removed. Don't book through booking.com or you'll get trapped. They don't know how to speak to people and are very rude, especially a guy named Simerjeet. Worst experience.

Anara guest house is quiet inside, away from the traffic noise. You don't wake up to honking horns and barking dogs, which matters a lot. The staff are friendly and hospitable, and the rooms are large, with cooking facilities if you need them. The location is great too, especially for shopping at the GK1 and GK2 markets or eating at the lovely restaurants in GK2 Market.

I had a reservation, but they told me they no longer work with the booking platform and sent me away in the rain. The manager was rude. I'd avoid booking with them online at all costs.

The property is nice and the location is good, but I didn't feel safe there. Most of the staff, apart from security, were very rude. I strongly suggest avoiding the place unless they change the staff and management. I booked directly by phone so I could negotiate the price. The manager asked me to show the booking.com price on my screen and said he'd lower it. The first night was fine, and we checked out the next day. Five days later we checked in again, this time for a 2bhk. Again, he asked to see the online price and said he'd match it. Then we found out the room was under maintenance and had to wait four hours. The next day, one of their staff came at 10 am and rudely told us to check out while we were still asleep. We moved to a studio, though we were paying the same price as for the 2 bhk. At 10pm, manager Simarjeet called and said rubbish to me, told me I hadn't come again, and said to get out of his property. As a customer, I have a right to negotiate the price. They raise online prices based on occupancy every time.
