Getting there was easy with a prepaid taxi, and the location was good. For a last minute booking in mid-February, about 1.5k a night felt like good value. The food was basic and okay, though local shops nearby have better options. Cleanliness was alright, but the linen could have been better and the shower didn't work properly. I also spotted some wall leaks. I'd rate the stay 3 stars, good overall.
For our four-day booking, they served tea and sandwiches only once. Room service didn't change the sheets or blanket when we asked. The bathroom door was broken, the mirror was missing, and the TV didn't work. We also had to pay Rs.500 extra for early checking, and there was no facility to help senior citizens climb the stairs at the entrance.
We had a very good experience. Our room was compact but had all the possible utilities, plus a shared balcony and a fridge. The rooms are very good, and breakfast was complimentary too.
I can't recommend this place. It was the worst experience, and I think it should be removed from OYO rooms. During corona, you'd expect a clean room, but the bed sheet, blanket, and pillow cover were all so dirty. I have a video showing it. I don't know how this hotel is still active.
The first-floor room they offered had no proper ventilation and lacked privacy. They asked us to book directly with them instead of using apps, and apparently they have different rooms at different prices without telling you.
