The location by GREEN PARK is superb, and having parking at the hotel was a great help since parking in Green park Delhi is a nightmare. The staff were friendly and professional, and made us feel at home. Our rooms were very clean, and the bed was the most comfortable I’ve slept in on all my travels. I booked two rooms for myself, my wife, and two friends after seeing the fantastic reviews. It’s pricey, but when I extended our stay, hotel owner Mr Raj Rathore gave me a special discount. The breakfast was stunning too. I can’t speak highly enough of the hotel and staff. I highly recommend it for a break or a romantic stay. Your wife won’t be disappointed.

The breakfast spread was really amazing, with stuffed parathas, curd, boiled egss, papaya, watermelon, poha, bread, butter, jam, milk, coffee, and tea. There’s a local market nearby and a temple you can visit if you want, plus a niche market for the cafe coffee day kind of crowd who like to open their laptops and work in coffee places just to show off. It’s a great place to stay, and the hotel staff are good. I asked for a water kettle, coffee sachet, and sugar. The kettle arrived so late that I wasn’t in the mood for coffee anymore. Room service wasn’t even three star, as I had to call and call and call.

The room’s bathroom is tiny, which is surprising but true. There was no cellular network in the room, not even 2G for Reliance, Airtel, or Idea, so Wi-Fi was the only way to get online. I had to leave the room and hotel to get cellphone signal. Outside food isn’t allowed, and early check-in costs 30*/* of the total room fare. Hot water is available only for a few hours in the morning and evening. Power backup is available. The hotel is in the centre of Green Park Extension and is easy to reach by local taxi or your own car. There’s no parking area, but getting there by car wasn’t a problem. The staff were friendly and helpful. The interior design and lighting were good, and the bedding and towels were clean. Staff will provide a doormat and sleepers on request.

The OYO manager was polite and tried to apologize for the poor hospitality, but the hotel’s handling of a minor chocolate spot on my bedsheet and duvet cover left me very unhappy. They initially charged 2000, even though both marks could easily be washed out. After housekeeping checked again, they told reception the bedsheet was fine and only the duvet cover was chargeable. Why wouldn’t they return Rs. 1000? I ended up taking both items to a nearby laundry myself, which took two hours. When I brought the clean bedding back to reception, they said they had refunded the 2000. I asked to be compensated for the laundry cost, since washing the bedding after a guest leaves is the hotel’s job, but I got nothing. The staff were also kind of rude. Their housekeeping seems to charge for any spot they see, and I suggest OYO keep track of these minor stain charges and other stupid fees. If hotels misuse these policies to make money, OYO shouldn’t partner with them. OYO doesn’t seem to have much authority over its partner hotels, so it can’t do anything about it. My partner felt kind of sick, and we won’t be going back. This isn’t the hospitality I expect after paying a premium. At checkout they send someone into your room to inspect everything, then make you wait at reception. It felt creepy. I’d suggest making reception friendlier and helping guests when they’re in a pinch instead of making things worse. I especially wouldn’t recommend this hotel to unmarried couples looking for a private experience, because they don’t have your back if something goes wrong. There’s never hot water in the bathroom here.
